Service Pack 2 (for Windows XP) help:
Please allow “blocked content” from this site.
Also allow pop-ups. You can do this by opening up a browser window and going to tools>pop up blocker> pop up blocker settings.
Then add http://www.simsbysarhra.com/2 to the “Address of Website to Allow” field and click add.
 
Getting Started

First of all, you will need Winrar to extract most of the files found on this site…a few are .zips, but most (and all new files) will be .rar files. Winrar can be found at www.rarlab.com.
Make sure that you remember where you have saved the files once you download them onto your computer. I always make a folder with the days date to put my downloaded rar and zip files in, that way I can keep them organized and it makes it easier to pin-point which files are being problematic. Once you’ve saved the files onto your computer, extract the files. This is how I do it: You have a whole folder full of .rar files…so, you hit ctrl + a (this selects all of the files) and right click > extract here. Then you will see all of the extracted files appear in the folder that your downloaded .rar files are in. Select all of the .PACKAGE files and copy & paste (or cut x paste) them into My Documents>EA Games>The Sims2>Downloads.
If you are having problems with this, please email me (remove the spaces). But keep in mind that am not EA tech support, so I can't help you recover a password or something like that. And I won't help people who want cracks for the game. I'm sorry, but I paid for mine and if you want a copy that works, go buy one like the rest of us. That in mind, I will do my best to help you out in any way that I can.
 
 
Questions that I get asked (FAQS):

Q. Where do I put the files so that I can use them in my game?
A. Extract the files to My Documents>EA Games>The Sims2>Downloads.

Q. Please put zip files on your site, I don't have Winrar. Why do you use that anyway?
A. Um, it takes about 5 seconds to install Winrar and it's free, so go get it. Even after the eval expires you can still use it, in case you didn't know that. I use Winrar because it compresses files better AND it opens both rar and zip files, Winzip only works for zip files.

Q. Your site doesn't work with/looks wonky in Firefox and/or Opera.
A. Oh well. I don't use either one so I don't really care, sorry!

Q. Can I put your files on my site?
A. Well, yes and no. Under NO circumstances are you allowed to "host" my files as is on your server or egroup. My files are to remain here for people to download (unless you are using one of the 3 filesharing communities that I've given permission to) but you CAN use my files for your custom whole/complete/full sims. You can not alter my files (recolor) them and publish them for download, ever...unless you've emailed me and I've said otherwise. Additionally, I should never EVER catch anyone using my files on pay sites unless I've been asked FIRST. I don't make money off of my stuff, it's not fair that other people can/would/do. If you would like to use my stuff on TSR, please ask me first...I love TSR, I really do, but I really would like to be asked before hand. Also, do not use my skins for banner images for your skin/clothing download sites (like I've said before, story sites, link sites & photo sites may use my clothing for site images/layouts)...this is misleading to your visitors. You may use the skins for layouts but I must be credited on each page that the skins appear on unless you have a clearly defined credits page.
